On December 4, 2008 WLC members braved the rain and cold to bring holiday cheer to a local women's shelter.

Their Day of Caring project included kitchen duty, decorating and organizing the shelter store and supply area.

This project has become a tradition for the members, who are happy to give back the women and their children.
